Dua Guru Asal Toraja Korban KKB di Papua Dapat Penghargaan dari Mensos Risma
TODAY, MAKALE – Dua Guru asal Toraja yang tewas ditembak oleh KKB di Papua mendapat piagam penghargaan dari Pemerintah melalui Kementrian Sosial RI.
Dua Guru tersebut, almarhum Oktavianus Rayo dan Yonathan Renden.

Penghargaan ini diserahkan langsung oleh Menteri Sosial Tri Rismaharini kepada istri kedua almarhum di gedung balai besar pendidikan dan Pelatihan kesejahteraan Sosial (BBPPKS) Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Kota Makassar, Selasa, 20 April 2021.
Penyerahan piagam disaksikan oleh Plt Gubernur Sulsel Andi Amran Sulaiman, Ketua DPRD Sulsel dan sejumlah pejabat.
Piagam diberikan atas dedikasi kedua almarhum dalam pengabdian sosial untuk kemanusiaan di Kabupaten Puncak, Provinsi Papua.
“Saya atas nama pemerintah mengucapkan bela sungkawa sedalam dalamnya kepada korban dari Papua,” kata Menteri Risma menyampaikan sambutan.
Risma berharap para keluarga korban mengikhlaskan kejadian pahit itu sembari mengajak agar tak menyimpan dendam
“Kita tidak usah dendam meskipun itu sulit sekali. Saya tahu itu berat. Saya juga pernah mengalami saat saya menjadi Wali Kota, tapi mari lita ikhlaskan supaya Tuhan menerima semua perbuatan baik yang dilakukan almarhum maupun kita semuanya,” ucap Risma.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Sosial Toraja Utara Mira Bangalino yang turut hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut mengatakan selain piagam penghargaan ahli waris korban juga menerima santunan masing masing Rp 15 juta.
“Termasuk keluarga Udin yang juga korban KKB,” ungkap Mira, via WhatsApp Selasa (20/4) sore.
Diketahui Almarhum Oktavianus Rayo dan Yonathan Rende telah dimakamkan pekan lalu di kampung halaman masing-masing. (Atjong)
