JRM Bantu Janda Tua yang Rumahnya Hangus Terbakar di Sangalla
TODAY, SANGGALLA – Berempati terhadap sesama yang dilanda kesusahan tak pernah diragukan dari sosok seorang Legislator Sulsel bernama Jhon Rende Mangontan.
Anggota Fraksi Golkar itu, kerap hadir di tengah-tengah warga yang membutuhkan uluran tangan secara khusus di daerah pemilihannya, Toraja.
Bahkan, sejak menjadi pengusaha di Papua, kegiatan sosial ini telah dilakukan oleh Pengurus Golkar Sulsel itu yang menjabat Wakil Ketua Koordinator Pemenangan Wilayah X yang meliputi Tana Toraja dan Toraja Utara.
Tanpa pamrih, Politisi asal Mengkendek yang akrab disapa JRM itu dengan ikhlas membantu melalui aksi peduli kasih.
Teranyar bantuan menyasar janda tua bernama Ne’ Lilla (69) warga Kelurahan Bebo, Kecamatan Sangalla, Tana Toraja.
Ne’ Lilla kini menghuni rumah darurat yang dibangun warga setempat setelah rumahnya hangus terbakar beberapa waktu lalu.
Seluruh harta benda Ne’ Lilla yang tinggal seorang diri tak dapat diselamatkan dari amukan si jago merah.
Bantuan peduli kasih ini diserahkan oleh perwakilan staf pendamping JRM dari DPRD Prov Sulsel atas nama Sardy bersama Garda JRM serta Srikandi, pada, Minggu (14/2).
“Bapak JRM mendapat informasi bahwa kondisi Ne’Lilla sangat memprihatinkan sehingga hati beliau tergerak untuk memberikan bantuan” ujar Sardy.
Adapun bantuan diserahkan berupa bahan makanan, keperluan sehari hari serta sejumlah uang.
“Prinsip yang selalu diucapkan bapak JRM adalah jangan ragu membantu sesamamu sepanjang kita masih bisa membantu krn kita tidak akan kekurangan kalau kita tulus membantu, tapi pasti banyak yang mendoakan kita agar kita dimudahkan rejeki dari Tuhan,” ungkap Sardy.
Ia menambahkan, JRM juga nantinya akan mengambil bahagian dalam pembagunan rumah yang layak huni untuk Ne’ Lilla.
“Menyangkut kelanjutan bantuan ke ibu janda sehingga kembali mendapatkan rumah yang layak, JRM tetap akan siap membantu bila sudah siap dibangunkan, misalnya atap atau bahan bangunan lainnya, yang penting dapat meringankan bebannya,” kata Sardy. (*)
