Kompala Unifa Dirikan Posko Kesehatan untuk Korban Gempa Sulbar
TODAY, MAMUJU – Komunitas Pencinta Alam (Kompala) Universitas Fajar (Unifa) Makassar, mengirim 5 anggotanya ke Provinsi Sulawesi Barat (Sulbar), Sabtu (16/1/21) atau sehari setelah gempa bumi magnitudo 6.2 mengguncang Kabupaten Majene dan Mamuju, Provinsi Sulbar.
Tim Kompala Tanggap Bencana (KTB) dipimpin Indra, meninggalkan sekretariat Kompala di Kampus Unifa, Jl Prof Basalamah No 101 Makassar, pukul 15.50 wita.
Tiba di lokasi, tim KTB dibagi dua. Tiga orang di Kecamatan Malunda, Kabupaten Majene dan dua orang di Kecamatan Tapalang, Mamuju. Dua kecamatan ini berbatasan dan terdampak paling parah.
Dia dua kecamatan itu, KTB bergabung dengan relawan lainnya dalam membantu masyarakat terdampak.
Ketua Kompala Unifa, Nelfan Toding, mengatakan tim Kompala Tanggap Bencana dibagi dua.
Tim pertama yang telah diberangkatkan pada Sabtu pekan lalu, bertugas sebagai potensi SAR. Sedangkan tim kedua di Makassar melakukan penggalangan bantuan.
“Rencananya, kami akan menggalang donasi dari civitias Unifa dan dermawan lainnya hingga Kamis, 21 Januari. Bantuan yang terkumpul akan dibawa oleh tim kedua pada Jumat, 22 Januari untuk didistribusikan ke warga korban bencana. Fokus kami nanti adalah daerah yang terisolir dan masih minim bantuan,” katanya.
Melalui rilis, Selasa (19/1/21) malam, koordinator KTB, Indra, mengatakan pada hari keempat mereka di Sulbar, anggota KTB bersama Mahasiswa pencinta Alam Klorofil Universitas Tomakaka, membantu Lembaga Kemanusiaan KUN dalam melakukan Emergency Response & Mobile Clinic di Desa Dungkait, Kecamatan Tapalang Barat, Mamuju.
“Kepala Desa Dungkait mengaku sangat bersyukur dengan kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan ini. Sebab sejak gempa, ini pertama kalinya warganya mendapat pelayanan kesehatan,” kata Indra mengutip pengakuan Kepala Desa Dungkait.
Hingga Selasa (19/1/21), jumlah korban meninggal dilaporkan sebanyak 90 orang, ratusan orang terluka, ratusan rumah ambruk, rusak berat dan rusak ringan. Korban meninggal terbanyak di Mamuju. (*)
