Sementara Panen Padi, Rumah Simon Terbakar
TODAY, TONDON – Si jago merah kembali mengamuk di Dusun Batupapan, Lembang Tondon Induk, Kecamatan Tondon, Toraja Utara. Rabu, 3 Februari 2021.
Satu unit rumah panggung milik Simon Kambori alias Pong Kadang (60) hangus terbakar. Saat kejadian, simon berada di sawah sementara panen padi.
Informasi diperoleh musibah kebakaran diperkirakan terjadi sekira pukul 08.15 Wita. Selain rumah, uang tunai sebesar Rp 200 juta milik Simon, 1 sepeda motor jenis honda serta 20 karung gabah juga hangus dilalap api.
Kanit Intel Polsek Tondon Nanggala Bripka Hardianto yang terjun langsung ke lokasi kebakaran bersama Bhabinkamtibmas Aipda Kazman Kendek mengatakan, peristiwa kebakaran pertama kali diketahui oleh Aris, anak Simon.
Aris yang semula ikut ke sawah pulang ke rumah. Saat menuju dapur hendak mengambil air minum, Aris melihat api sudah menyala diatas kamar lantai 2.
“Spontan Aris berteriak minta tolong warga sekitar untuk membantu memadamkan api dengan peralatan seadanya. Warga lain menghubungi Damkar Toraja Utara,” jelas Hardianto.
Tak lama berselang, sekira pukul 08.45 wita, 6 unit armada Damkar tiba di lokasi kejadian dan langsung membantu memadamkan api.
Namun, rumah yang terbakar berbahan kayu membuat api dengan cepat merambat hingga menyisakan tiang rumah.
“Sekitar pukul 09.30 wita api berhasil dipadamkan,” kata Hardianto.
Hingga kini dugaan sementara penyebab kebakaran disebabkan oleh korsleting listrik. Atas kejadian tersebut kerugian materil akibat kebakaran ditaksir Rp 1 millyar.
