Tak Ada ‘Perang’ Kembang Api saat Pergantian Tahun di Kolam Makale
TODAY MAKALE – Bak tradisi setiap menghadapi momen pergantian tahun dirayakan warga Tana Toraja dengan ‘perang’ kembang api di di kolam Makale.
Tiap tahunnya menjelang detik-detik memasuki tahun baru warga tumpah ruah memadati jantung daerah Tana Toraja itu.
Namun, seiring pandemi Covid-19, pergantian tahun kali ini dipastikan tanpa gemerlap cahaya kembang api mewarnai langit Makale, khususnya seputar area kolam.
Hal itu dipastikan oleh Kapolres Tana Toraja AKBP Sarly Sollu saat menggelar jumpa pers bersama puluhan awak media didampingi Kasat Reskrim AKP Jon Pairunan dan Kasat Narkoba AKP Sitorus, di Mapolres Tana Toraja, Rabu (30/12).
“Jalur kolam Makale kita akan tutup jelang penggantian tahun. Tidak boleh ada aktifitas pesta kembang api, kalau ada yang berkumpul 3 orang kita langsung bubarkan,” tegas Kapolres.
Dijelaskan penutupan jalur kolam Makale dilakukan sebagai upaya mencegah timbulnya kerumunan banyak orang, dimana dapat berpotensi mempercepat penyebaran Covid-19.
Selain meniadakan pesta kembang api di malam pergantian tahun, Kapolres juga menekan kepada seluruh masyarakat untuk tak melakukan sejumlah kegiatan. Seperti konvoi kendaraan hingga berkerumun di tempat-tempat umum seperti kafe dan restoran.
“Kami tak segan-segan menindak tegas pelanggar protokol kesehatan saat pergantian tahun,” tegas perwira menengah berpangkat dua bunga itu.
Sementara untuk pengamanan pergantian tahun, Polres Tana Toraja menurunkan sebanyak 250 personil, termasuk yang bertugas di Pos Lilin.
Menurut Sarly pihaknya akan membatasi warga dari daerah lain yang akan masuk ke Tana Toraja acara tutup tahun.
“Di perbatasan Salubarani dan Rantelemo akan diperketat. Setiap orang yang akan masuk dilakukan pemeriksaan rapid test dan swab. Kita sudah menerima bantuan rapid dari Polda Sulsel,” jelasnya.
Sementara itu, konferensi pers terkait perkembangan kasus sepanjang tahun 2020 digelar di Aula Bhayangkara Polres Tana Toraja.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Kapolres membeberkan total laporan yang masuk sebanyak 347 kasus. Antara lain kasus narkoba,
oidana Umum, pelecehan seksual, bunuh diri dan penemuan mayat.
“288 kasus atau 83 persen
diselesaikan hingga putusan Inkrah Pengadilan Negeri Tana Toraja. Dibanding tahun 2019 kasus yang ditangani Polres Tana Toraja di tahun 2020 mengalami penurunan. (tom)
