Tim Batitong Maro Ungkap Kasus Penipuan Motor, Pelakunya Siswa SMK
TODAY, MAKALE – Unit Resmob Polres Tana Toraja yang dijuluki Tim Batitong Maro berhasil menangkap pelaku penipuan motor di tiga showroom.
Pelaku berinisial NO (20) asal Kabupaten Enrekang yang berstatus pelajar salah satu SMK di Tana Toraja.
NO ditangkap saat hendak bertransaksi di sebuah pangkalan ojek poros, tepatnya pertigaan poros penghuhung Makale-Rantepao-Sangalla, Sabtu (13/2).
Di kantor Polisi, NO mengakui perbuatannya. Dalam beraksi, ia mengaku berhasil membawa kabur motor milik 3 showroom dengan cara berpura pura ingin membeli motor. Sementara motor yang digunakan dalam beraksi ditinggalkan di lokasi.
“Tak sampai 1×24 jam penyelidikan Pelaku bersama barang bukti 3 Unit Sepeda Motor, 1 buah BPKP dan 2 STN kita amankan,” kata Kasat Reskrim AKP Jon Pairunan.
NO yang kini berstatus Tersangka masih menjalani pemeriksaan di Mapolres Tana Toraja. Ia terancam dijerat pasal 378 KUHP dengan penjara 4 tahun.
“Di kasus ini, selain dari penipuan, terdapat pula unsur penggelapannya, sehingga terduga dapat pula di kenakan pasal 372 KUHP,” pungkas Jon. (*)
