Marten Ditemukan Meninggal di Kebun Sayur Babi
TODAY, SOPAI – Marten Salu warga Dusun Kalindungan, Lembang Salu, Kecamatan Sopai, Toraja Utara ditemukan meninggal di kebun sayur babi miliknya, Selasa, 30 Maret 2021.
Kakek berusia 61 Tahun ditemukan warga sudah tidak bernyawa sekira pukul 11.00 wita.
Diduga Marten yang kesehariannya bertani meninggal akibat serangan jantung.
Peristiwa nahas ini pertama diketahui oleh Markus Sago (62), salah seorang warga setempat.
Pada saat itu, Markus hendak menuju ke salah satu kios untuk membeli gula. Ketika melintas didepan kebun sayur babi milik korban ia melihat korban sudah dalam posisi terbaring miring menghadap kebarat dengan kaki tertekuk.
Kaget, Markus kemudian berlari menuju rumah korban yang hanya berjarak sekitar 100 meter dari tempat kejadian untuk memberitahukan kepada keluarga.
Mandapat informasi, anak kandung korban bernama Gloria Penesia Salib (21) yang sementara berada di depan rumah langsung bergegas menuju lokasi kejadian.
“Selanjutnya korban di bawa oleh warga ke kediamannya dan menghubungi personil polsek Sopai,” tutur,” kata Kasat Reskrim Polres Toraja Utara AKP Hardjoko yang berada di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP).
Di lokasi kejadian petugas pun langsung melakukan olah TKP. Dari pemeriksaan, petugas tak menemukan adanya tanda-tanda kekerasan pada tubuh korban.
“Keterangan keluarga, bahwa korban sekitar pukul 09.00 Wita berpamitan untuk berangkat ke kebun sayur babi. Korban sudah lama memiliki riwayat jantung dan sering sakit-sakitan,” jelas AKP Hardjoko.
Untuk kepentingan penyelidikan petugas mengamankan barang bukti berupa baju lengan panjang berwarna biru, celana pendek berwarna abu biru yang dikenakan korban serta sebuah cangkul yang digunakan korban saat bekerja di kebun.
Sementara atas kejadian ini keluarga korban menolak untuk dilakukan otopsi selanjutnya dibuatkan surat pernyataan penolakan otopsi oleh pihak berwajib. (Juf)
